Are You Experiencing This?

Living in fear of a partner’s anger

Being hurt physically, emotionally, or financially

If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone. SAFE is here to help you figure this out.

Why SAFE Exists

SAFE was built on a simple but urgent belief: every person in Southeast Louisiana deserves to feel safe in their own home. We serve Tangipahoa, Livingston, and St. Helena Parishes, communities where resources are spread thin, and silence is often the only option survivors feel they have. We exist to change that.

Purple Ribbon Initiative

Every Ribbon Tells a Story of Hope

Honor Survivors. Remember Lives. Build Hope.

The Purple Ribbon Initiative is more than a fundraising campaign—it's a visible reminder that survivors of domestic violence are not alone.

Every ribbon added to SAFE's Wall of Hope represents a story. Some ribbons honor survivors who found the courage to seek safety. Others remember lives lost to domestic violence. Many celebrate community members who stand beside survivors and believe every person deserves a life free from abuse.

Together, these ribbons create a powerful display of hope, healing, and community support.

When you add your ribbon, you become part of a movement committed to ending domestic violence in Tangipahoa, Livingston, and St. Helena Parishes.

Why Your Support Matters

Domestic violence affects individuals, families, workplaces, schools, and entire communities. Your support helps SAFE provide critical services that survivors depend on every day.

  • Emergency shelter and safe housing for survivors and their children

  • 24-hour crisis intervention services

  • Legal advocacy and court accompaniment

  • Financial assistance and empowerment programs

  • Support groups and emotional healing services

  • Community education and prevention programs

If your business, organization, church, library, or community space may be interested in hosting the wall, please contact us.
